Damian operates a top notch restaurant. Have been a frequent guest over & over for more than 20 years. Never have I experienced a disappointing meal, atmosphere or service. Always the best. Damian and my husband put together the most fabulous surprise birthday for me this week. Evan, a true professional, kept us full of drinks and food, he never missed a beat. Thank you Damian, Evan and everyone behind the scene at the British Open Pub in Bluffton.

This is our favorite reataurant on the island. We go several times each trip. Both locations are owned by the same owner and he takes great pride in his food and service. My favorite is the Royal Birkshire and Mushroom Pie. They bring it to your table and pour it hot over your plate in front of you. So delightful! Everything we've always ordered has been splendid.

Had a traditional St. Patrick's Day lunch - corned beef and cabbage. Sides were boiled potatoes and a slice of Irish soda bread. Portion was generous and tasty!

Consistently the best fish and chips in the Lowcountry. The chicken pot pie is classic comfort food, and the French onion soup is very rich and delicious. The dessert cakes are wonderful! There’s something for everyone here. You definitely want to eat here!!

Food was amazing! Came out to the table hot and fresh. We ate the prime rib and fish and chips. I feel that our server could have checked on us a bit better as our drinks ran low. Great overall though.

What an incredible find! This really is a Pub, or Public House, because there are daily/nightly patrons who know and love one another, and they will make you feel like part of the family! Sliced Beef Wellington & blue cheese appetizer was a perfect start. Reuben on marbled rye was delicious. Great beers on tap. Lovely, friendly staff. A all around.
